News network On October 19, the academic seminar "Dialogue between Political and Legal Studies and Legal Anthropology" was held in Zhixing Hall, Haidian Campus, Minzu University of China。The seminar was co-sponsored by the Scientific Research Office of Minzu University of China, the School of Law and the Cloud Reading Club of Legal Anthropology。Experts and scholars in political and legal studies and legal anthropology from Peking University, Tsinghua University, Renmin University of China, Southwest University of Political Science and Law, Northwest University of Political Science and Law, China Law, Legal and Political Science, Global Law Review and other universities expressed their views and conducted academic discussions on the frontiers, theories, fields and prospects of political and legal anthropology。
In his opening speech, Qiang Shigong, deputy secretary of the Party Committee and vice president of the University, affirmed the pioneering significance of the activity held by the school of Law for the first time。Starting from the history of the revival of the concept of "politics and law", he pointed out that "politics" refers to the fundamental legitimacy of political order and life, "law" is an objective law that does not depend on the will of people, and "law" is a knowledge that regulates the subjective, legitimate and objective laws。"Anthropology" is defined by the origins of imperial governance, the methods of fieldwork, the memory of human civilization, and the critique of civilized order。Four kinds of knowledge and four kinds of methods provide a bridge for the dialogue between political and legal studies and legal anthropology。
Lu Daiying, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and secretary of the Commission for Discipline Inspection, presided over the opening ceremony and warmly welcomed the guests, introduced the development course and educational purpose of Minzu University of China, and especially stressed the academic significance of the rule of law guarantee during the construction of the Chinese national community and the importance of this seminar。
Zhang Guanzi, director of the Institute of Information and Information of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and editor-in-chief of World Social Sciences, deeply explained the epochal, diversity and openness of legal anthropology in its development,This paper points out the research paradigm of legal anthropology which combines text analysis and field investigation,And the reflection function of exploring the subjectivity of Chinese culture。Encourage current Chinese scholars to construct Chinese native theoretical resources and knowledge systems from the perspective of legal anthropology。
Keynote presentation session,Huang Wenyi, dean of the Law School of Renmin University of China, made a systematic review of the evolution of the field of politics and law from classical to modern,Scholars who hope to study politics and law should not only promote disciplinary, curricular and textbook disciplinary establishment,And the research results of actual combat, practical, operational deep into the practice of political and legal organs。Zhu Xiaoyang of Peking University explained the methodological approach of anthropology from the Angle of "thick concept", "thin concept" and "intermediate link", and discussed the cultural identity of the Chinese national community。
The roundtable forum respectively focused on the frontier issues of political and legal anthropology, theoretical issues of political and legal anthropology, field issues of political and legal anthropology, and the common mission of political and legal research and legal anthropology。
